Shadia is an independent DEI professional and speaker, and she joins deidei as an external consultant. Shadia has extensive, interdisciplinary experience: in her PhD she studied diversity and health in the population, and she has also studied corporate responsibility at Hanken School of Economics.
Before entrepreneurship, Shadia led research and development projects at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). She was responsible for the diversity-promoting recruitment experiment that was awarded the Innovator in Recruiting Award. Shadia has also been awarded the State Award for Public Information for her contributions to public discourse on racism and inequality.
With deidei, Shadia has worked, for example, with City of Espoo and Finnish Red Cross (SPR).
